This page is not so much about pampering your pets, as it is a resource to help you find a pet. Start here if you’re new to pet parenting, getting a pet for someone else, or just adding to your family; choosing a pet can be tough. There are so many options and so many things to consider! Hopefully though, I can help you out a bit.  I want to help you find the best pet for your home, the one that fits perfectly with your family, and the one you will want to love and pamper like a crazy cat lady loves her cats.

The perfect pet fits into your life so seamlessly, in just weeks you’ll hardly remember life without it. There have been countless studies showing the health benefits of having an animal, and for me, spending some bonding time with a pet is more relaxing than any spa or gym class ever could be. I love enjoying sunny days with a snake stretched out in my hands, or curling up with a good book and a cat, or letting off some steam in a game of fetch, sometimes I even just enjoy being still and watching the fish swim. Chances are, there are many great pets out there for each person (just like there are for me), and my goal is not to pick a pet for you. This section is where you can get some tips and advice to help you, as well as share in my personal stories about the new pets in my house and how we get along.

If you’re at square one, check out this flow chart for choosing the best pet for your home. This chart doesn’t just include cats and dogs, but also explores the options of hamsters, mice, spiders, frogs, snakes, birds., and more. If you’re picking out your kid’s first pet this article Is Your Kid Ready for Their Own Pet has lot of great tips and things to consider.  Pease, look through the dropdown menu for this page and read what you need.  Also, please remember, if you can’t find what you’re looking for contact me. If I don’t know the answer I’ll find it for you.

And don’t forget, once you’ve chosen your perfect pet, stay here to pick up all kinds of ideas on how to make your new pet the luckiest one of the bunch.
